Activation Fees
You may be eligible for a discount at the time of activation which will provide you a company credit off the activation fee. Assist Wireless subscribers are responsible to pay any remaining activation fee not covered.
Lifeline Plans
Lifeline Free Plan 68
Each month you will receive 68 free voice minutes. Text messaging will be assessed at a rate of 0.50 minutes per text message for sending and 0.50 minutes per text message for receiving text messages. Unused minutes will not roll over from month to month, see terms and conditions for more information. This plan is available in all states where Assist Wireless offers service except Oklahoma.
Lifeline Free Plan 125
Each month you will receive 125 free voice minutes. Text messaging will be assessed at a rate of 1 minute per text message for sending and 1 minute per text message for receiving text messages. See terms and conditions for more information. This plan is available in all states where Assist Wireless offers service except Oklahoma.
Lifeline Free Plan 250
Each month you will receive 250 free voice minutes. Text messaging will be assessed at a rate of 1 minute per text message for sending and 1 minute per text message for receiving text messages. There are no roll over minutes with this plan. Unused minutes will expire each month on the service expiration date. This plan is available in all states where Assist Wireless offers service except Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Lifeline Unlimited Plan
Each month you will receive unlimited voice minutes for $5.00 per month after discounts are applied, plus fees and taxes. Text messaging will not be available with the unlimited talk plan. There are no roll over minutes with this plan. Unused minutes will expire each month on the service expiration date. This plan is only available to Oklahoma residents.
Oklahoma Lifeline 1000 Plan
Each month you will receive unlimited voice minutes or 1000 text messages for $1.00 month after discounts are applied, plus fees and taxes. Text messaging will be assessed at a rate of 1 minute per text message for sending and 1 minute per text message for receiving text messages. There are no roll over minutes with this plan. Unused minutes will expire each month on the service expiration date. This plan is only available to Oklahoma residents.
As described, Assist’s Lifeline service offerings consist of three distinct plans, which will be free to the consumer based upon the Lifeline subsidy to Assist from the USF. The plans are: (1) Lifeline Free Plan 68 (per month – 68 free voice minutes, text messages assessed at a rate of .050 minutes per text for sent and .050 minutes per received, unused minutes will roll over for the first 90 days. After which unused minutes will expire at the end of the service period and will not roll over.; (2) Lifeline Free Plan 125 (per month – 125 free voice minutes, text messages assessed at a rate of 1 minute per send and 1 minute per received, unused minutes roll over and are available for a maximum of sixty (60) days); and (3)Lifeline Free Plan 250(per month – 250 free voice minutes, text messages assessed at a rate of 1 minute per send and 1 minute per received, unused minutes do not roll over, unused minutes expire on the service expiration date. Airtime is valued at $0.20 per minute of use. Roaming charges, if they apply, will be billed at a rate of $0.59 per minute of use and will be deducted from available minutes. Roaming occurs when you make or receive calls outside the home network calling area. Lifeline customers will receive a new or refurbished handset, free of charge, or have the option to purchase a higher-end model. Each phone comes with a one-year factory warranty. A Service Connection fee of up to $80.00 may be assessed to activate service. Fees are based on state and plans. All remaining balances are the responsibility of the customer. Options to defer payment may be given based on state and plan. To ensure uninterrupted access to 911 emergency services, Lifeline customers will have access to 911 emergency services regardless of whether their account has available minutes. Lifeline accounts with no voice usage for 60 days are subject to disconnection.
Non-Lifeline Plans
Oklahoma Non-Lifeline Unlimited Plan
Each month you will receive unlimited voice minutes for $40.00 per month plus fees and taxes. Text messaging will not be available with the unlimited talk plan. Each month you will receive 1000 voice minutes or 1000 text messages for $36.00 per month plus fees and taxes. Additional Minutes
Assist Wireless Additional Minutes Plans
Subscribers may add an Additional Minutes Offering Plan to their Assist Wireless account by using one of following methods. You can add an Additional Minutes Offering Plan to your account by paying by credit/debit card, or by buying a Additional Minutes Offering Plan at any Assist Wireless authorized agent location. Assist Wireless Additional Minutes Offering Plans come in increments of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $50 and $60. Sales taxes may apply and maybe added to the minute plan purchased. All minute plans offered by Assist Wireless include a limit (CAP) on the amount of minutes a subscriber can use. Purchased Additional Minutes Plans cannot be transferred or applied to any other wireless service or account.
Text Messaging Rates
Assist Wireless Text Messaging Rates
The standard rate to send or receive a text message on your Assist Wireless phone is $0.10 per text message for receiving, and $0.10 per text message for sending. Adding additional airtime or plans to your account may include incremental minute rates per text messages sent or received. Text messaging rates for FREE PLAN 68, FREE PLAN 125 and FREE PLAN 250 will be charged at 1 minute per text message for sending and 1 minute per text message for receiving text messages.
Unlimited Does Not Mean Unreasonable
To ensure that all customers have access to reliable services provided at a reasonable cost, you may not use our service in a manner that interferes with another Assist Wireless Mobile customer’s use of our service or disproportionally Assist Wireless, LLC’s network resources. Assist Wireless, LLC reserves the right, without notice or limitation, to terminate individual calls, or after providing notice to you, offer you a different service plan with no unlimited usage components, limit data throughput speeds or quantities, or deny, terminate, end, modify, disconnect or suspend your service, or decline to renew your service, if you engage in any of the prohibited voice or data uses detailed below or if Assist Wireless, LLC, in its sole discretion, determines action is necessary to protect its wireless networks from harm or degradation. Assist wireless may limit, alter, or discontinue your Service if you generate abnormally high call volumes, abnormally long average call lengths, calls with abnormally high costs, abnormally high use, or other disproportionate use when compared to those of other customers of Assist Wireless.
